5:00-7:30 in the Mabry Cafeteria
Attend the art show and bring home a framed piece of your child’s art. Framed artwork is $25 and only Cash and Checks will be accepted. Check should be made out to Artome. Celebrate Literacy Week!

The Mabry Media Center has lots of fun activities planned such as bookmark marking, creating class posters of books we WANT to read, an "Across the Genres" tic-tac-toe game and magazines at lunch!
On Thursday, January 31st Mrs. Rocha will host a Book Swap in the Library. If you want to participate please bring 1 (or more) gently used books to the Media Center from Monday -- Wednesday and you will receive a ticket to participate. On Thursday, return to the Media Center with your ticket and "book shop" for 1 book you have been wanting to read! All the extra books will be donated to our school's free public lending library which will open next month!
On Friday wear a favorite hat to school because it is "HATS OFF TO READING!"

Jump Rope For Heart is NOW

Jump Rope For Heart
Going on now thru Feb 14th. This is a school wide fundraiser for the American Heart Association. For students in Grade 1 thru Grade 5, while at PE class, they will be learning how to jump rope while learning different way to maintain a healthy heart.
Packets and flyers were sent home this past week. Students are encouraged to raise money on-line. (Heart.org/kidsheartchallenge) For any cash donations, please convert cash into a check before turning in the packets. Make checks payable to American Heart Association.
Last year, Mabry was the top fundraiser in Hillsborough County.
Key Dates
Feb 12th – packets are due
Feb 14th- DJ party for any student that raises $25 or more
Coach Broff’s Challenge
For the Top fundraiser in Pre K thru 2, the student will earn 2 hours of entertainment for a birthday party from Coach Broff
For the Top fundraiser in 3rd thru 5th, the student will earn 2 hours of entertainment for a birthday party from Coach Broff
