Walk to School Wednesday April 5th

Join the Mabry Walking School Bus for our next Walk to School Wednesday April 5, 2017. Walking school buses will meet at 7:10 am. Check mabrypta.org for a map of bus routes and additional details. All walkers will receive a spirit stick and participants will be entered into a raffle to receive a $100 P.E. prize pack for their classroom! Students should sign in with their teacher when they get to class to be counted. Coffee and water will be available by the gate on Estrella outside the 1st grade wing.
Family Reading and Science Night

Mabry has a Reading and Science Family Night scheduled for April 6 at school 5:30 - 7:00.

Relay for Life Bingo Night

Support Mabry’s Relay for Life team by participating in Bingo Night! Parents, drop off your child for an hour of fun and prizes. There will be a limit of 100 students, so sign up online today! The suggested donation is $10.00. You can bring your donation to bingo night. Cash or checks made payable to the American Cancer Society. Thanks for your help and support! We look forward to seeing you there.

It's only March so it hard to think about next year. But our PTA is actively planning for yet another successful year next year to keep the Mabry tradition of community strong! Congratulations to our Nominating Committee for being voted into service on Monday. Thank you to Amy Ferrera, Kelly Hageman, Karen Heinberg, Brandi Seals and Donna Trakas for volunteering to help in our search for next year's leaders. Our nominating committee will work together over the next month to help bring candidates up for vote at our last GMM on April 27th to determine who will serve as PTA officers next year.
Would you like to get more involved? Here is our Willingness to Serve form. It details the officer positions for our PTA. If you are interested in learning more about any of the positions, please print out the form and return it to by March 31st to the PTA basket in the main office. Someone from the nominating committee would love to speak with you!

General Membership Meeting

What an amazing auction Mabry held on Saturday. It wouldn't have been possible without our teachers and parents who give so much of their time.
Monday March 6th at 8am in the Mabry Cafeteria we will hold a brief General Membership Meeting. The purpose of this meeting that has been called by the Mabry Executive Board will be to vote to approve next years' nominating committee. Both PTA members who are teachers and parents alike are needed to help nominate next years' officers. The time commitment is short. We need volunteers for one month to be a part of our 2017-18 Nominating Committee. Nominating committee helps seek out and review the candidates to serve as officers for next years' PTA at Mabry. Officers will be elected at our April 27th General Membership Meeting. If you want to be on Nominating committee, we are moving fast so contact us today!
