Penny Wars is Back

Student Council is holding it's annual Penny Wars from February 27-March 3 ! All proceeds will go to benefit the Mabry Relay for Life team!
So how does it work? Each grade level will have a water jug located outside the media center.
The object is for students to put pennies into their grade level jug. Each penny is worth 1 point. To 'battle' against the other grade levels, you can put any silver change (nickels, dimes, quarters) or dollar bills in opposing grade level containers. These deduct points from the team. For example, put in a quarter and the team loses 25 pts. Put in a dollar and they lose 100 points!! We also welcome any check donations made out to American Cancer Society (checks count as cash!!). The grade level with the most points by the end of the competition wins a Popsicle Party during their lunch!

Candy Grams on Sale 2/6- 2/9

Student Council and Mabry Elementary PTA are excited to announce the annual Candy Gram drive. This year, all the proceeds will go to Metropolitan Ministries. Come to the candy table in front of the school from 7:30-8am on Feb 6th-9th and create a message you would like to send FOR JUST A $1! It could be for a friend, your parents, your teacher, or any member of the Mabry Family. Parents, you can even send one to your child! Student Council will attach a lollypop and deliver it on February 14th to the respective rooms. Now that’s “sweet”.

Great American Scholar Luncheon (Volunteers Needed)

Please help us honor our Mabry students who have taken the responsibility to gain a greater sense of patriotism! We need many volunteers to ensure another successful Great American Scholar Luncheon and Program on Friday, February 17th.
You can volunteer even if your child did not participate in the program - in fact, we are looking for parents who can miss the program from 12 - 12:30 so that we can clean up from the first lunch and prep for the second lunch.
