Fall Family Dinner Night - THIS Thursday!!

Mabry Multicultural Night! Music, Dance, Dine and Shine!

Thursday, December 5 from 5:30-7:30p

Dinner and dancing from around the world! The Mabry chorus and steel pans will be performing, along with grade level folk dance performances (from 6-7pm). Food trucks serving mediterranean, philipino, columbian and moroccan fare (All will serve a kids meal). Mabry students who participate in grade level performances will receive a special spirit stick. Mabry spirit wear for purchase. More info to come! Have your child sign up to participate below!

Mabry PTA Bi-laws

This school year, Mabry PTA’s bi-laws will need to be approved.  The executive team has proposed to keep our current bi-law adjustments and renew for another 3 years. We will be voting on these proposed bi-laws at the next General Membership Meeting in January 30th, 2020. If you have any questions, please email [email protected].

School Choice

The first School Choice window is now open, and will close on 12/31/19.  Those families who wish to consider magnet schools for the 2020-2021 school year are encouraged to apply in the first round, to have the best chances for selection.

5th Grade Yearbook Tribute

Don’t miss your chance to reserve a tribute for everyone to see. *Only one half (1/2) page allowable per student.

5th Grade Tribute Pricing: (Yearbook not included)
1/2 Page Tribute- $60
1/4 Page Tribute- $40

Yearbook Pricing:
$25 per yearbook before 11/30 (In addition to tribute cost)

Go to balfour.com to place your order. Tribute deadline to reserve the space January 17,2020. You must order online, checks or cash will not be accepted at school. Once you pay for the tribute you will receive instructions on how to create the tribute, which are due by January 24, 2020 and must be turned in on a disc or a thumb drive. Email tributes will not be accepted.

Relay for Life T-shirt Design Contest

Relay for Life T-shirt Design Contest
How would you like your design to be on the front of the Mabry Relay for Life t-shirt? If the answer is yes, then you should enter the t-shirt design contest.

Requirements to enter the contest:

1. There is a $10 donation for each entry.
2. Must include the theme:

Mabry Dolphins have hope for a cure

3. Must use 3 colors or less.
4. Design must be drawn by the student on a piece of white 8 x 11 copy paper.
5. Name and grade level must be on the back of the drawing.

You may enter more than one time. Each entry is a $10 donation to the American Cancer Society. If paying by check please make it out to the American Cancer Society.

Turn your t-shirt design in to your homeroom teacher. 

The deadline is Friday, November 8, 2019!
